Motivating Soldiers

I am not sure whether I can do motivate them very well in practice, but I am sure it definitely helps me to motivate them.
Guys,
What are your motivations to live?
For me, there are several things that motivate me to live diligently.
1. My parents also lived diligently. And I want to serve them in the future.
2. As I have gotten a lot of support and money from parents and family, I want to get back in the future.
3. I want to live while helping other people who need any help. This writing can also help other people, you.
What are my motivations to become a ROTC?
1. I want to get an opportunity to lead a soldier who is not gathered involuntarily. It is mandatory for males to do military service. It is the only chance to lead this kind of group.
2. If I do my business, it is like leading soldiers. In one platoon, there are almost 20 people. It is similar with the small-sized company.
How to motivate soldiers?
There is a process of motivational leadership.
1. Disciplined Leadership:
The leader should be disciplined first. Discipline means that you do things right by controlling your behaviors. It is clearly shown when the leader faced in adverse situation.
2. Purpose and Direction:
The leader should communicate with soldiers and share a goal of organization. This moral and ethics are the basis of achieving the goals.
3. Motivation:
The final step is to give internal and external drives to them.
